Got opportunity to attend Independence Day Parade, Towson MD USA with Ankit, Priyanka, sadhana and Myra. Earlier, we had also attended National Independence Day Festival and Parade. Philadelphia, in 2015. For more than 120 years, the Towson 4th of July parade is being celebrated to pay homage to those who sacrificed their life for America.
A lot of enthusiasm and public participation in the parade. Various groups are showing their skills in group dancing, marching with band and bagpipers, vintage bikes and cars, showcasing of various government departments. The parade lasted for 2 hours. Also, attended the fire work organized by the government in the night.
Experienced festive flavor of independence which somewhat resembles to the Republic Day Parade of India exhibiting the culture and passion for the day.
