Visit to Bushkill Waterfalls and Smithfield Beach on 26-May-2019

Bushkill Waterfalls is a series of eight privately owned waterfalls, the tallest of which cascades over 100 feet (30 m), located in Pocono Mountains in the United States. Beginning at the headwaters of the Little Bush Kill, the water descends the mountain, toward the Delaware River, forming Bushkill Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Bridesmaid Falls, Laurel Glen Falls, Pennell Falls, and three additional, unnamed falls. The place is also  popular for hiking and birdwatching. The area has a variety of trails and bridges that vary in length and difficulty. The fall is also known as “Niagara Falls of Pennsylvania. Visited Bushkill Waterfalls and Smithfield Beach with Paliwals and Sadhna for 4-5 hours. Completed a trail for about 2 hours enjoying the waterfall and the nature around

Enjoyed delicious food at El Patron, Clinton on the way to the Bushkill Waterfalls. The Mexican ambiance of the restaurant was very good with typical paintings and  creative furniture design.

Smithfield Beach is located on River Road about seven miles north of the town of Delaware Water Gap, PA, and offers a grassy beach complete with picnic areas, restrooms, a boat launch, a canoe launch, and access to the Joseph M. McDade Recreational Trail.

Very very scenic place could spent about 30 minutes in the evening. The Delaware river is very steady and flowing through the green forest of Worthington State Forest. Panoramic view of the river and the forests on the both banks of the river.
